Who is the FPA?
The FPA consists of Tyler Yoder and Emily Ward, two school friends who started the organization with their first Fabulous Party, the FHHCB in December of 2003.
Since that time, the FPA has grown thanks to the ongoing support and volunteer efforts of our crew.
Tyler Yoder is the masculine half of this party planning duo. It was his desire to throw a real historical ball for a send-off before leaving for the wilderness of Alaska that got the ball rolling. Tyler's fascination with history and re-enactment have influenced many of our party themes, and his knack for building things has greatly enhanced the atmosphere at our events with custom decorations and art pieces.

Emily loves to play dress up, and doesn't feel that there are enough opportunities to do so. She digs social history and researching party games, music, and dance and other entertainments for FPA event planning. She also acts as webmistress. Together, Tyler and Emily synthesize a vision of food, decoration, ambiance, and entertainment.

The FPA would not be where we are today without the support and effort we've received from our volunteers.

B.S. Shoemaker, Department of Culinary Affairs:
Brian Scott Shoemaker has been volunteering his cooking skills to the F.P.A. since the FHHCBIV; However, he has been asissting Tyler with throwing smaller dinner parties of 25, as well as catering weddings, for much longer. He has nearly completed his culinary degree at Olympic College, and has much practical experience in restaraunt service and catering. He is superb at re-making a menu from scratch, at the drop of a hat, when all seems lost.

S.O. Linseth, Co-Host and Factorum
Saul Linseth, Emily's long-term boyfriend, has been involved with the F.P.A. since the Arabian Night. At parties since, he has acted as co-host, has done the highly important work of driving to pick up or obtain whatever we've forgotten, has been an actor in both the murder-mystery play and The Adventures of Professor Cogsworth, has been a kitchen aide and assistant bartender, and has been our official photographer. Saul is always ready to pitch in wherever he's needed, and generally saves the day.

C.D.G. Yoder, Bartender and Factorum
Carolyn Yoder, Tyler's mother, has always helped out with fetching whatever's needed when the hosts need to be on site. She has also been the F.P.A.'s bartender, or a food-server every time they've needed one - when their hired help fell through. Carolyn has been an invaluable member of the team, ESPECIALLY during clean-up - since the FHHCBII, she's always taken charge of the venue's rest-rooms to prevent a repeat of that dreadful incident.

K.R. Simon, General Factorum
Karyl Simon, since the FHHCBIII, has been involved in the months of planning, serving as a sounding board, an extra set of hands to fill in menu cards or invitations, &c.,&c. At the events themselves, she routinely helps with set-up and clean-up, as well as working in the kitchen or serving food as needed. Karyl's strength lies in seeing what needs to be done, and then doing it, with a minimum of discussion about it.

S. M. Dempster, Artistic Advisor and Factorum
Stuart Dempster has been instrumental in lending us decorative implements and helping with custom decorations. He also aided in the graphic design of our tickets for the FHHCBV, edited The Adventures of Professor Cogsworth like a madman, and served as our Major-Domo for the first portion of the FHHCBV.

C. M. Moulton and M. May, Support Crew
Christina Moulton and Michael May have contributed to every party since the FHHCBIII, and off-the-record to the parties before that. Usually their help comes in the form of a substantial dish (such as a roast goose, or 10 gallons of egg-flower soup), the loan of equipment (such as an exhibit to the Exposition, a dozen cut-crystal candleholders, or two five-gallon beverage dispensers), or just general help (such as showing up an hour before show time and calming the hosts down, or taking over the Major-Domo's post so that the Major Domo can finish the film). Always cheerful and ready to pitch in, they are handy people to have in one's acquaintance.

B.A. Ragle, Support Crew
Barbara Ragle has been instrumental in set-up and clean-up since the FHHCBIII. She helps obtain equipment and haul it to the site as well as the opposite task of taking it away. Everyone in the F.P.A. is immensely grateful, as well, for her self-sacrifice in repeatedly tackling the piles of dishes after an event.

Special thanks also to Andrea for her mad directorial skillz (watch The Madcap Adventures of Professor Cogsworth in the World of 1950 debut at the Victorian Technologica Exposition) and Reynaud, Kurt, Brian and Joel for their technical (and acting) skillz and Adam, Sheena, The Rest for all of their help on the film.
